This was the second drawing I did after I was in a car accident. It had taken a year and a half of many, many hours working through the pain to regain my drawing ability. So this is very special in my artist’s journey. The first drawing I did of him is much smaller than this life sized image. This chief has felt like a friend and a spiritual guide and teacher at key times in my life. I drew him as I know him now.
